Southern Kaduna: Fulani Herdsmen Run For Their Lives As Community Members Fights Back

Suspected Fulani herdsmen have attacked Sunji/Kagoro community in Kaura local government area of Kaduna state although they were met with stiff resistance from community members. Daily Post reports that the invasion occoured on Tuesday, January 3 but security personnel and members of the community fought back.

This attack is coming on the heels of a peace agreement signed by Miyetti Allah and Southern Kaduna people where they agreed to live in harmony. He said: “We are making effort to deploy more security operatives in the area to ensure proper security of lives and property. According to him, “I received a called this morning at about 6:30 about the development. There was no casualty and loss of property.” Meanwhile, Abdulrahman Dambazau the interior minister has warned opinion and religious leaders against giving the crisis in Southern Kaduna a religious connotation.
