More terorists have been killed with seven additional terrorists’ camps destroyed by the military in the ongoing fight against Boko Haram in Sambisa forest, the defence headquarters said yesterday. The defence spokerson, Major General Chris Olukolade, in statement said that additional 25 women and children were rescued in the process.
A lot of weapons including, Rocket Propelled Grenades (RPGs), Anti-Aircraft Guns, AAGs, and a number of vehicles were either captured or destroyed during the operation. Olukolade said, the four soldiers who were wounded in the operations have been evacuated for treatment. He said troops are in high fighting spirit as they continued the search of the forest for terrorists, arms and hostages.
