There was pandemonium in Osogbo, the Osun State capital, when fire nearly razed down a Bovas Filling Station, along Dada Estate, Channels Television reports. It was gathered that the fire, whose cause is yet to be ascertained at press time, destroyed the mini shop within the filling station and also burned two siblings believed to be children of the owner of the property, to death.
Eye witnesses said, the fire broke out just before noon adding that the Osun State Fire Service had been there with one tanker but had to go refill when they ran out of water. Ojo Williams, who was also at the scene of the incident narrated that four people were in the mini shop when the fire erupted. He said while a woman believed to be the wife of the owner of the filling station and a child were rescued and taken to the hospital, two children were caught in the inferno.
