Teachers will receive free tertiary training -Osinbajo

Vice President-elect, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, has said the Muhammadu Buhari administration will give teachers access to free tertiary programmes. Osinbajo while addressing a gathering of members of the Nigerian Union of Teachers in Lagos on Wednesday, emphasised the need for regular training of teachers in order to raise the standard of education in Nigeria. The professor of law said the administration is determined to improve the education and health sectors.

“In our manifesto, one thing that is very clear is that we are going to spend a lot time and resources on education, especially public education,” Osinbajo said.
