NYSC Needs Money to Unite Nigeria

Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, Kaduna State Governor, described the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) as a necessary and the most significant joint force for Nigeria. He also emphasized the utter importance of doing everything lawful to defend both the scheme and sufficient funding.

The governor especially emphasized the fact that Kaduna State government would undoubtedly do its best within its resources to make the scheme triumphant. According to him, it is the only method to unite Nigeria.

“I know that presently many young people hate going to states other than where they feel comfortable. They are sure that places, where they have never been, are aggressive communities and they don’t want to go. However, I want to use this medium to call for our young people to be daring,” explained his position the El-Rufai.

Kaduna State Governor also added that the National Youth Service Corps would make all young people visit locations they had never been to because in that way they would know more about their home country.

“However, when you see everything in your own eyes, you will not think that other parts of Nigeria don’t have the problems that you have. Therefore, the Scheme must get proper finances to reinforce the unity in diversity,” added the head of the State.

Mallam Nasir El-Rufai thanked the National Youth Service Corps for choosing Kaduna State for the National workshop. The governor expressed the hope that it would definitely increase the State`s economy.

Big-Gen Kazaure, the NYSC chief, previously declared that the selection of Kaduna State to host the event was in real approval of the hospitality and the support the scheme gets from the state government and its kind people.

Additionally, he promised that he would keep on building the firm foundation of the scheme and make numerous initiatives that would undoubtedly promote the project. Therefore, it will probably be the most significant Nigerian youth mobilization organisation.
