Former military Head of State, Abdulsalami Abubakar has said the Peoples Democratic Party has refused to play its role as a credible opposition. Abubakar said this when he was visited by Raymond Dokpesi, a chairmanship aspirant of the party, in his residence in Minna, Niger state.
What he said: Abubakar said the PDP was still suffering from the shock of defeat. He said the party has not performed its duty as a credible opposition. “I must say it is very sad that you have not played your role properly in opposition,” he said.
